श्रद्धा और विश्वास का देश है हिंदुस्तान। क्यों करते हैं इतना अधिक विश्वास?

श्रद्धा और विश्वास के बिना कोई कार्य पूरा नहीं हो सकता। संसार  प्रत्येक कार्यों में विश्वास की अधिक आवश्यकता होती है मान लो कि हम पूजा करने के लिए मंदिर में जाते हैं यदि हमारे मन में मूर्तियों के प्रति श्रद्धा और विश्वास नहीं है तो हमारा पूजा करना व्यर्थ हो जाएगा। देश में मंदिरों का निर्माण लोगों के मन में ईश्वर तथा देवी-देवताओं के प्रति आस्था उत्पन्न करने के लिए हुआ है। नास्तिक भी यदि एक बार मंदिर में चला जाता है तो उसका भी मन शांत हो जाता है। हमारी निष्ठा और भावना ही प्रधान होती है और उन्हें देखकर नास्तिकों के मन में भी भगवान के प्रति भावना जागृत होने लगती है।

एक दूसरे पर विश्वास करने के पीछे हिंदू लोगों का यह विचार होता है कि प्रत्येक प्राणी के अंतः करण में ईश्वर का निवास होता है। वह प्राणी, वह मनुष्य चाहे सद्बुद्धि वाला या पापी हो।

उदाहरण के लिए एक दुकानदार के पास एक  चोर आया

और बोला सेठ जी। मुझे अपने पास नौकरी पर रख लो। दुकानदार ने उसके चेहरे को पढ़ा। उसे पता था कि यह चोर है फिर भी मुस्कुरा कर बोला ठीक है तुम कल से नौकरी पर आ जाना। वह चोर उस दिन अपने घर लौट गया और मन ही मन यह सोच रहा था कि अब मेरी चांदी रहेगी मौका मिलते ही अपने पसंद की चीजें चोरी कर लिया करूंगा। भला इतने बड़े व्यापार में थोड़े बहुत कि क्या चोरी का पता चलेगा? दूसरे दिन जब चोर काम पर पहुंचा तो सेठ ने कहा देखो भाई। देखने में तो तुम शरीफ लगते हो।हम तो यहां ईमानदार व्यक्ति को ही प्राथमिकता प्रदान करते हैं। चेहरे मोहरे से तो तुम ईमानदार लगते हो। उस लड़के ने हां में सिर हिला दिया। सेठ जी बोले तुम मेरी गद्दी पर बैठकर कामकाज की देखभाल करो। मैं किसी जरूरी काम से बाहर जा रहा हूं। यह सुनते ही वह लड़का बहुत खुश हुआ। सेठ जी के जाने के बाद लड़के ने गले की तरफ हाथ बढ़ाया तो उसी समय लड़के के मन में ईश्वर की प्रेरणा से विचार आया कि अगला मेरी ईमानदारी पर सब कुछ छोड़ कर गया है मैं चोरी कैसे करूं? यह कहलाता है ह्रदय परिवर्तन। इसलिए हिंदू लोग आंखें बंद कर दूसरे पर विश्वास करते हैं।
